Haha, I'd have to say that is one of your best xanga posts ever. haha. I'm actually suprised that you would put that on your xanga, considering it shows you drooling (sp?), I don't know if I would show something like that.

Paul,

Thanks for your comment on my xanga. I'm a slow thinker, too.

Anyway, I'm going to try to answer the "paradoxical" question you asked on my xanga....

1. The girls helping the guys to step up and be leaders is definitely a type of leadership. But, leadership in and of itself isn't bad. It's the type of leadership and who you're striving to lead. As long as the girl's not nagging and annoying and making the guy do things that he really doesn't want to do, I see that her "leadership" (or maybe a more accurate term is support), is positive. So, when she is supporting and asking him questions and striving to see him succeed (without becoming pushy), that's probably positive.... Make sense?

2. What happens if the guys will not step up? Should the girls just be allowed to take over? I don't think they should. I think part of support is to allow people to see where their choices led them. It's unfortunate, but men need to see that their choices impact others. They also need to see that they can't simply be somewhere and not give input and leadership. They must serve everyone around them and strive to impact others. So, if they're not doing that, things will flounder because that specific leadership role wasn't meant for the girl's primarily. And the girls shouldn't have to do that.... Does that make sense?

I hope I haven't said anything foolish in this. This is a xanga post; so, there could be additions or subtractions as needed. But, I hope this is helpful. Just my thoughts....
